My daughter and I arrived in 1999 from Victoria, Canada, and fell in love with Santa Teresa’s unique 7 miles of white sand beach and surf! We’ve never looked back and I now have: my permanent residency, a sweet home and grandchildren born here!

Luda Kononenko
I was born and raised in a small port city on the edge of the Earth on the huge Taymyr Peninsula in the Siberian tundra. From the age of 17-24, I lived in the most beautiful city of Russia, St. Petersburg, studying at the Academy of Public Administration. Returning to my hometown in the far north, I worked as an economist in the Education Department. After 5 years of living in the north, fate brought me to Moscow, where the noise of the big city, traffic jams, and the cement jungle had such an effect on me that I decided to fulfill my lifelong dream – to go live by the ocean.
As fortune would have it, my friend told me about the wonders of Costa Rica and more specifically about Santa Teresa. When I arrived here in 2016, I completely and irrevocably fell in love with the local landscape and coastal life. What brought me to practice real estate was my love for beautiful properties, the amazing Costa Rican views, and foremost, the desire to help other people find their dream home.
