Manzanillo
Playa Manzanillo lies at the north end of the coastal road above Santa Teresa, a 10 minute drive from Playa Hermosa. Along the beach is a scattering of humble homes and a restaurant run by locals. The actual village, Belo Horizonte, is two hundred meters inland, on the road to Cobano, which is a 15 km drive away. Manzanillo is still an authentic Tico village with few foreigners and little tourism. No public transportation is available and the grocery stores carry only basic supplies.

Real Estate in Manzanillo
As Santa Teresa expands, real estate in Manzanillo is also picking off. Beaches to both sides have a castaway feel: to the north stretches a wildlife sanctuary, while to the south lies a protected beach forest that extends to Playa Hermosa. Having a property in Manzanillo is for those who don’t mind a bit of solitude, instead enjoying scenic beaches and life in a quaint Tico community.
